For over 35 years Mr. Horton has counseled and represented Fortune 500 companies in insurance recovery matters involving toxic torts, environmental liabilities, product defects, medical devices, sex abuse claims, and other catastrophic losses.

Mr. Horton has represented clients in bench and jury trials in federal and state courts. He has experience serving as lead counsel on insurance-related litigation for a range of clients, including technology enterprises, energy suppliers, insulation companies and product manufacturers. He also has extensive experience in mediating and arbitrating insurance coverage disputes.

Mr. Horton has assisted clients in drafting, negotiating and procuring specialty market insurance policies through domestic insurers and offshore markets. He also has assisted numerous clients in reconstructing and analyzing historic policies that may be responsive to current liabilities.
